خطورة النفايات البلاستيكية على التوازن البيئي
وأوضح الكابتن عبدالمحسن الزهراني أن النفايات البلاستيكية استحوذت على نسبة تتجاوز 70% من إجمالي المخلفات المستخرجة، محذراً من خطورة هذه المواد نظراً لبطء تحللها وتأثيرها المباشر على التوازن البيئي.

وبين الزهراني أن التحرك يأتي بالشراكة مع مقدمي الخدمات البحرية، لترسيخ ثقافة التطوع، ورفع مستوى الوعي المجتمعي بمخاطر إلقاء المخلفات في المرافق العامة.
وأكد أن المبادرة تتوافق مع مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030 الرامية إلى توسيع قاعدة المشاركة المجتمعية، وتعزيز أعداد المتطوعين لضمان استدامة الموارد الطبيعية للأجيال القادمة.
