Salman, who has collaborated with David Dhawan on several popular films over the years, shared a warm reunion with the filmmaker. The actor arrived in a black T-shirt layered with a leather jacket and denims, reminding fans of his effortless late 1990s style.
A video from the evening that has now gone viral on social media showed Salman interacting with David Dhawan and posing with him for the paparazzi.
Salman also playfully roasted Varun Dhawan for recreating his iconic song Chunari Chunari for Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. Joking about it, Salman said, “Isne mera ek aur gaana uthaya,” referring to the recreated track. Varun, visibly shy, responded with, “Bhai rehne do.”
Several other celebrities attended the event, including Karan Johar, Arjun Kapoor, Chunky Panday, Sussanne Khan, Rohit Dhawan, Anjini Dhawan and Tina Ahuja, among others.
