Stacey Solomon may have just found the ultimate travel must-have with her £25 portable phone charger that kept her whole family’s phones fully charged whilst camping

If you’re heading off to a festival or camping this year, one of the biggest stressors can be keeping your phone fully charged. There’s nothing worse than your phone dying while trying to video your favourite band or when you need to keep track of your family on holiday, but when you’re away – especially whilst camping in a field – you can’t exactly plug it in at any moment.

However, Stacey Solomon has found the perfect solution, as she raved about her new portable phone charger whilst on a recent camping trip with her family. She praised the Charmast 20000mAh Power Bank for keeping not only hers, but her entire family’s phones fully charged every day, and it’s currently on sale in an early Prime Day deal.

Whilst the lilac version that Stacey chose is still full price at £32.99, several of the other colourways have been slashed in price, ranging from £24.69 to £25.99, making it an ultra-affordable buy. Stacey praised the Charmast Power Bank on Instagram, saying: “Sharing a link to this because I’ve bought a million chargers in my time and this one beats them all. I’ve charged everything on this in the last 24 hours and it’s still going strong!”

The Charmast Power Bank comes with four built-in cables which snap onto the back so you can charge all makes and models of phones or tablets – and even charge multiple ones at once. It supports 20W PD ultra-fast charging, and the Type-C in/out cables and lightning out cable let you have high speed charging so your phone can be ready to go in no time.

It’s also lightweight and slim enough to fit into your bag or back pocket so you can carry it everywhere with you, and features a digital display which shows you how much power the Charmast Power Bank still has left. Stacey’s isn’t the only power bank you can pick up before your next adventure, though.

At Burga the Magnetic Power Bank comes in a choice of 5,000, 10,000 and 15,000 mAh and multiple different slogan designs and colourways. You can even swap for a mirrored version, and it not only lets you connect via cables, but snaps straight onto the back of your phone for hands-free charging.

For a bargain option, the Unio Magsafe Power Bank is only £12 at Dunelm, and offers 5000mAh capacity. This means you’ll get up to two smartphone charges out of it making it handy for when you’ll be out all day.

However Stacey’s Charmast Power Bank has been a huge hit with Amazon shoppers. One said: “I can’t get enough of this power bank, it’s fantastic. It charges my IPhone extremely rapidly, far better than my previous battery pack, and has built in cables, saving me from needing to take extra cables. And the sky blue colour is gorgeous!”

Another wrote: “Used this whilst camping at a rowing competition. The bank takes a while to charge itself but was great and fast to charge my iPhone whilst away, lasted for days. I am very happy, it’s such a great price. Enough different cables attached to charge everything.”

With a third adding: “This is simply the best – fast charging, great size. The downside is it’s too heavy to pack in my handbag – but it’s awesome. I can charge my phone up three times from this, and it charges so fast. It does take several hours to recharge this power bank though but that’s understandable, Probably my best powerbank (out of 7!)”

However the long charging time was a deal breaker for some, with one less happy customer writing: “Can’t fault this when using to charge my iPhone or any device however if this is something you’d plan to use every day you may wanna look for a different power bank as this literally takes FOREVER to recharge. Even when I charge the power bank over night it still isn’t fully charged by the morning. It’s a shame to be honest because it does charge devices quickly just not so great at actually charging itself.”

Someone else agreed: “Does the job, I really like that you can charge multiple devices at once. However, it takes forever to charge this up, and I do mean hours. Makes it impractical. You need to be able to quickly recharge your power bank and go again. Quite heavy.”
