She has recently returned from a make-or-break trip to Dubai, where Lee is in jail.
With speculation that her marriage may be over, Katie Price is said to be gearing up for the ultimate revenge on husband Lee Andrews.
The drama surrounding the mum-of-five’s personal life took another twist last week as she returned from a make-or-break trip to Dubai – apparently without wearing her wedding ring.
Friends say she has finally had enough, and that she is now determined to get her own back on Lee. A source tells us, “No one does revenge like Katie Price. Believe me, she’s plotting and planning.”
Despite her rage, Katie, 48, is still said to be devastated by the fact her fourth marriage may soon be heading for the divorce courts. “She is heartbroken. She’s still in love and she can’t get Lee out of her system,” our source says. “He’s got under her skin. But she wants everyone to know what she’s been through, and then you’ll see her rise like a phoenix.”
As she works out her next move, Katie is thought to be joining forces with Lee’s ex Dina Taji to lift the lid on businessman Lee, 43.
In a social media teaser for The Katie Price Show podcast, which she later deleted, the pair were seen hugging while Katie said, “Women stick together and I came to Dina about one of the [legal] cases because I thought, ‘Is Dina involved?’ And then obviously we had a cup of tea, as girls do… we’ve had a long chat, and that’s for us to know, and for you to find out in the future.”
Dina is believed to have been with Lee for more than three years, and she told Katie in the video, “To be honest with you, I really didn’t care about responding to reporters and everyone that was messaging me, I mean, just out of respect.
But, of Katie, Dina added, “If there’s anything that I wanted to share and kind of warn her, if anything, it would be woman to woman, you know, face to face.”
With the pair’s revelations set to cause fresh shockwaves, the source adds, “Katie is hurt, and when a man hurts her she doesn’t let it lie. She’s spoken with his ex, and she’s going to release the footage and tell the truth.”
During Katie’s Dubai visit last week, she was supported by a trusted man in her life – thought to be videographer Ben Algar, who she has known for several years.
He was by her side as she tackled various legal hurdles, and he filmed her ordering room service and relaxing in a salon. “He’s there constantly and has seen her through her ups and downs,” says our source. “Having someone to talk to and listen to her has helped her deal with it all. He’s been holding her hand and getting her through it.”
As the pair shot a series of daily Facebook updates from Dubai, Katie told fans, “I need to know what’s happening for his sake, my sake, clarity on everything. I just need a lot of answers to a lot of things. I mean it’s crunch time now, there’s no bulls**t going on.”
In one clip, Katie admitted being “absolutely knackered” after visiting courts, a police station and the Al Awir prison where Lee was being held. She revealed she was taking belongings including his phone to him.
“It’s Wednesday and I go on Friday,” she said. “Time is running out.” And speaking of the intense pressure she was under, Katie added, “I’m so stressed at the minute. Look, I’m just losing weight – I actually look like a skeletor.”
The same day, she took a break by the pool of her hotel, where she was filmed holding a belated birthday cake to mark her recent birthday. “I’ve done my deeds for the day, I’m now just getting a bit of sunshine,” she said.
On Friday morning, she was snapped arriving back at Gatwick airport, with reports suggesting her five-month marriage was over. But that afternoon, her wedding ring was back on as she played down the situation. “He’s gone into prison, it’s not the end of the world, is it?” she said in another Facebook video. “He’s a big boy. It is what it is.”
The saga surrounding Lee first unfolded last month when Katie claimed she feared Lee had been “kidnapped”. She even told her followers that he spoke to her while trapped in the back of a van with his hands tied together. But he was later found to be behind bars after being arrested over a private civil matter, and it’s said he now faces a bill of £100,000 upon release.
After news of his imprisonment emerged, Katie said, “I have found him – he is alive, and he is OK. I told him how worried I had been and told him I loved him.”
But she also told him he had become “the most hated man in prison” – which she says shocked him. “He said, ‘What, what, why?’ and I said, ‘Trust me, you are the most hated man in Britain, everyone thinks this is a scam, everyone thinks I’m in on it.’”
Meanwhile, Katie also spoke to sister Sophie about their exchange on her podcast. “He said to me, ‘Did you think I was dead? I’m like ‘yes!’” said Katie. “We didn’t know what had happened. But it doesn’t sound like he’s had a good time. Put it that way.” In response, Sophie replied simply, “Oh, well!”
With family and friends increasingly worried about Katie, our source adds, “Everyone is like, ‘Just get him out of your life.’ They’re all warning her that Lee will destroy her and finish her career and she will lose everything – money, friends and family as well as her happiness.”
