A source tells us she’s determined for things to be better this time, with more support from boxer Tommy, also 27.

Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury welcomed their second child last week – a baby boy – and this time round, we’re told they’re set on avoiding past issues.

The couple revealed their happy news on Instagram last Wednesday, with Molly sharing a cute black-and-white snap of the family of four.

Underneath the image, which showed Tommy at her side and daughter Bambi, three, already doting on her new sibling, she wrote, “and then there were 4”, along with a white heart.

The 27-year-old was wearing her hospital gown and wristbands in the photo, but couldn’t have looked happier as she sat cross-legged on the bed, admiring the newborn.

The post got a staggering 2.7 million likes within the first 24 hours, with famous pals rushing to offer their well-wishes.

The couple’s close friend and former Love Island co-star Maura Higgins wrote, “Congratulations again so happy for you all,” followed by three hearts. TV presenter Rochelle Humes wrote, “Congratulations gang.”

But with Molly making no secret of the challenges of motherhood the first time round, a source tells us she’s determined for things to be better this time, with more support from boxer Tommy, also 27.

“Baby number two has already brought them closer as a family unit,” says our source. “It’s helped Molly and Tommy realise what’s important.

“Neither she nor Tommy want a repeat of the past, so they’ve agreed on some new rules. Tommy isn’t drinking and they’re going to have one night out together a week, while Tommy will help out while Molly has time with her sister.

“Tommy can’t help who he is, but he’s trying to be more responsible.”

In July last year, Molly opened up about the challenges she was facing as she navigated parenting Bambi, then two. In a tearful video, she spoke of feeling overwhelmed, particularly as she was going through the “terrible twos”.

The previous month, in a YouTube vlog, she even confessed to wondering if she was “actually cut out” for being a parent.

“When I watch people’s videos and hear them talking about motherhood and how much every single minute they love it… I sit there and think, ‘Is there something wrong with me as a mum?’” she admitted. “I can’t sit there and say that every single minute I love it. Not all of it is enjoyable. I don’t know how to explain it.”

Shedding light on Bambi’s behaviour, she added, “I’m having one of those days where I’m finding [Bambi] impossible, absolutely impossible.

“Every single thing I try and ask her to do, she will not listen to me. She literally on purpose will do the opposite of everything I say or ask.”

To make matters worse, Molly has frequently come under fire from the online “parenting police”, with trolls blasting her parenting techniques.

Earlier this year she was accused of “permissive” parenting after Bambi had a meltdown during a family break in the Maldives.

Molly and Tommy were dining at the exclusive One&Only Reethi Rah resort when Bambi – who Molly has said “rules the roost” – had a tantrum about her meal.

After Molly tried to reason with her, one critic claimed she was giving her daughter “too many options”, while another accused her of “raising a monster”. A third said Bambi was clearly “playing” her.

According to our source, the influencer is also going to be leaning more on her future sister-in-law, Paris Fury, this time round.

“Molly has had some stick about not being a good mum, but she wants to show she is,” we’re told. “She has spoken to Paris, who of course is an experienced mum of seven, for advice.”

Tommy and Molly – who met on Love Island in 2019 – split in August 2024, but by the following May they were back on, with both parties citing Tommy’s alcohol issues as the reason for the split.

Opening up about the impact the boxer’s drinking had, Molly said at the time, “Obviously, he knows it’s the drink. Do I think that drink could still be a problem for us, potentially? Yeah, but I think the break-up showed Tommy I’m serious.”

Luckily, our source claims Tommy is now in a good place, telling us, “He wants to be a better father, and Molly doesn’t want to be a single mum.

“You can see the change in Tommy. He’s stopped drinking and partying, and is taking fatherhood and the relationship incredibly seriously.”
