Arjun Rampal opened up about his divorce
Arjun Rampal was married to Mehr Jesia, who was a former Miss India and yesteryear’s supermodel, for twenty years. Recently, Arjun Rampal appeared on the Cancelled to Crown YouTube channel. He talked about the toughest phase of his life, when he felt the loneliest. He revealed that his marriage to his ex-wife, Mehr Jesia, wasn’t working out. He accepted that he thinks love is not constant. He called it the darkest phase of his life.
Arjun shared that at that time, he was losing everyone closest to him, as his mother was also battling cancer, and he had lost his father three years before that, and he also lost many friends. He said:
“I think the loneliest I have ever felt is when I was not connected with myself the way I am today. My marriage was not working out and it’s sad because I think love is not constant. Everything in life is not constant. I think that was maybe the darkest phase of my life because at that point in time it was exactly the time my mum had cancer and I was losing her. I was losing everybody who was close to me. I had lost my father three years before that. I was losing friends. I was losing everything that I had worked so hard to get.”
Arjun Rampal talked about finding love again and restarting life
Arjun got lucky in love a second time with the arrival of Gabriella Demetriades in his life. He accepted that she changed his life for the better. He called her the strong anchor of his life, and she also has been through a dark phase, and both of them had weathered a storm in their life. He talked about them getting blessed with two children who changed their lives for the better. He said:
“I was very lucky because I got somebody like Gabriella into my life who I think was a very strong anchor and was also coming from a space of maybe a lot of darkness as well. So we both were in the storm and we had to, like I said, weather it. But it’s good, we got to weather it together and then the blessings came.”
Arjun Rampal’s personal life
For those who don’t know, Arjun Rampal was earlier married to Mehr Jesia. After a couple of years of being in love, the two got married in 1998. The two embraced parenthood with the arrival of their daughter, Mahikaa, who was born in 2002, and their family was completed with the arrival of their second daughter, Myra, in 2005. After 20 years, they parted ways. Their divorce was finalised in November 2019. Arjun announced his pregnancy and relationship with Gabriella in 2020.
