Finally, all the Dharmendra fans took a sigh of relief when the actor was shifted from Breach Candy Hospital to his home. Following his discharge, the team of Sunny Deol issued their first statement. The actor’s team said that Dharmendra’s recovery will now happen at his home. The visuals of Bobby Deol taking his father in an ambulance were doing rounds on the internet.
Sunny Deol’s First Statement After Dharmendra’s Discharge
The news of Dharmendra’s discharge was confirmed by Sunny Deol and his team. The statement read, “Mr. Dharmendra has been discharged from the hospital and will continue his recovery at home. We kindly request the media and the public to refrain from any further speculation and to respect his and the family’s privacy during this time.”
“We appreciate everyone’s love, prayers, and good wishes for his continued recovery, good health, and long life. Please respect him because he loves you,” it added.

The actor, best known for his memorable performances in Sholay, Chupke Chupke, and Phool Aur Patthar, was admitted to the hospital on November 10 for a routine check-up and observation. However, on Tuesday morning, reports of his death began circulating on social media, which were later dismissed by his daughter Esha Deol and wife Hema Malini.
Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter), Hema Malini lashed out at reports falsely claiming that Dharmendra had passed away. She wrote, “What is happening is unforgivable! How can responsible channels spread false news about a person who is responding to treatment and is recovering? This is being extremely disrespectful and irresponsible.”
