Allu Arjun praises Ram Charan
Allu Arjun described Ram Charan’s performance as “gritty and raw,” adding that the actor’s remarkable physical transformation and effortless dance moves left a deep impression on him. The Game Changer star underwent rigorous training to transform himself into a desi pehalwan for the role.
“He absolutely aced it in every aspect,” wrote Allu Arjun. He further said he was immensely proud of his brother and felt that Charan deserved every bit of the appreciation coming his way. For the uninitiated, the two actors are first cousins and belong to one of Telugu cinema’s most celebrated film families.

‘Love to the leading lady, Janhvi Kapoor’
Ram Charan was not the only member of the cast to receive praise. Allu Arjun singled out Jagapathi Babu for what he called a “striking” performance. He also sent his love to leading lady Janhvi Kapoor, who plays Achiyamma in the period sports-action drama. The actress has been steadily expanding her footprint in Telugu cinema.
The Raaka star also congratulated director Buchi Babu Sana, crediting him for “elevating every member of the cast and placing Ram Charan on a high pedestal.” He extended his appreciation to the film’s technicians and producers for successfully bringing the director’s vision to life.
AR Rahman and R. Rathnavelu served as the film’s music composer and cinematographer, respectively. Released on June 4, Peddi also features actors such as Boman Irani in key supporting roles. The film is expected to soon enter the ₹300-crore worldwide gross club. For Ram Charan, it is being regarded as his most acclaimed solo-hero film since Rangasthalam.
