Ethan Slater Reacted When His Ex-Wife, Lilly Said Ariana Grande Was Not A ‘Girl’s Girl’ After Split

Ariana Grande has reportedly broken up with Ethan Slater after three years of dating. The couple started dating in 2023, after meeting on the set of Wicked. During that time, Ethan filed for divorce from his ex-wife, Lilly Jay, and it was only a few months after she gave birth to his son.

On the other hand, Ariana also ended her marriage with Dalton Gomez. As easy as it seemed, it came with a controversy, as people started calling Ariana a ‘homewrecker’. It was Lilly who said she was ‘blindsided’ by her divorce from Ethan and couldn’t understand what happened. Well, she also gave an interview to a publication, wherein she made a comment on Ariana Grande, and her ex-husband, Ethan, reportedly reacted to the same.

If the reports are to be believed, during a conversation with a well-known publication, Lilly Jay was asked about her divorce from Ethan and also about his bond with Ariana Grande. To this, Lilly said that Ariana isn’t a ‘girl’s girl’ while adding that her family is just ‘collateral damage’. She also mentioned that her main focus for now will be taking care of their son and being the best mom.

This comment certainly raised eyebrows, and it was Ethan, who was also allegedly left surprised. As per a report, Lilly had told Ethan that she didn’t know the source of the various media leaks, which left the actor surprised. Another publication revealed that the couple talked about this matter, and Lilly couldn’t understand when she was said to be on the record. To mention, Lilly and Ethan coparented their son, even after their split, and she also released an essay about her split from the actor.

Ethan Slater and Ariana Grande have been together for the last three years, and as she revealed in an interview, during the time, they were together, they saw major changes in their career. Well, Ariana recently started making the headlines with her appearance in her music video, hate that you made me love you from her upcoming album, Petals. People have been commenting on the same, as it sparked a concern about the singer’s health.

Well, she is also in talks for her comeback tour, Eternal Sunshine. It so happened that Ariana, during her performance, changed the lyrics of the song, Thank You, Next, and showed two fingers in the air, instead of  ‘Only wanna do it once, real bad’. It gave people the idea that the singer might have hinted at getting married for the second time. Well, hours later, several reports hit the headlines, claiming that Ethan and Ariana had broken up. While the reason was not revealed, it was said there were no major fights or so, and the alleged ex-couple will continue to be good friends and will be each other’s supporters as well. Ariana and Ethan are yet to make any comment about the same.
