Jacqueline Jossa is said to be facing more heartache after estranged husband Dan Osborne was rumbled having a fling with a Brazilian fitness model
Jacqueline Jossa has reportedly confronted estranged husband Dan Osborne over his alleged fling with a Brazilian bikini model that has dashed her hopes of them reconciling.
The 33-year-old EastEnders actress, who plays Lauren Branning on the BBC soap, split from former TOWIE star Dan, 34, earlier this year after nine years of marriage following infidelity rumours. They share two daughters, Ella, 11, and seven-year-old Mia.
But while Jacqueline is said to have hoped to work things out with Dan, it seems he has other ideas as he’s been rumbled meeting up with Brazilian bikini model Etila Santiago during a recent trip to the US.
She is said to have been tipped off about the fling by eagle-eyed pals who spotted Dan and Etila sharing similar snaps from their recent trip to Miami on social media. Though they didn’t post any snaps together, it was clear they’d been in the same places.
A source told The Sun: “Dan started chatting to Etila on Instagram before his trip to Miami as he saw they both had a passion for fitness. They met up a few times during his trip and really hit it off, spending a lot of time together hanging out and chatting.
‘However, Jac’s mates notified her about Dan’s movements having suspected who he was with online. So when he was back in the UK, she asked him about it.
“It’s obviously very sensitive as they are co-parenting, but Dan is a single man now. Jac is upset as she still feels there’s a chance her and Dan could rekindle.”
According to her Instagram, Etila is a bikini and fitness model. She regularly shares bikini and gym shots online and her bio reads: “I help women build lean, athletic bodies with elite-level coaching.” The Mirror has contacted reps for Dan and Jacqueline for further comment on this story.
The news comes as Dan posted a cryptic comment about “letting go of what was” following his surprise split from wife Jac in March this year.
Sharing topless snaps of his toned torso alongside other snaps of what he’s been up to lately, he wrote in the caption: “Happiness is found in 3 things: – Letting go of what was. – Enjoying what is. – And having faith in what will be.”
Dan and Jac were together 13 years and married for nine before they finally called time on their rocky relationship – with a number of cheating rumours circulating in the months leading to the split.
Having given their relationship a number of chances, friends claim Jac has accepted it’s the end after the pair lived separate lives for months beforehand.
A source close to Dan told The Sun: “Everyone knows they’ve had their troubles, but after spending some time apart this year, they’ve decided to make the split permanent. Their two daughters are their main priority.”
When divorce was put on the table, however, friends claimed Dan had doubts about going through with it before Jacqueline ultimately put her foot down.
The insider said at the time: “After all Jac’s been through, she’s finally had enough. They’ve been living separate lives all this year and she’s over it. There’s only so many times she can put herself through living in limbo and taking him back. She has mentally checked out and Dan has panicked.”
But it seems Jac was possibly hoping of a reconciliation again after posting a snap kissing Dan to social media in the weeks after they they split. She is still to publicly comment on her relationship woes.
