Sreeja Konidela, daughter of megastar Chiranjeevi and sister of actor Ram Charan, has opened up about her personal struggles. She revealed how a 15-month Self Mastery Project by Sacred Paths helped her move past a victim mindset.

In a video shared on Instagram, Sreeja reflected on how she once viewed herself through the lens of pain. “I was stuck in a space asking, why is this happening to me and why am I going through pain? And in this journey, I moved from that space of victimhood and to understanding that life just doesn’t happen to me, but I have the power to create it,” she said.

“For most of my life, I identified myself with my pain, my past, my struggles. To me, my identity was shaped by everything that went wrong in my life,” she said.

Crediting her guru Anuradha Ramesh, founder of Sacred Path, she said the programme helped her look beyond those experiences. “Yes, my pain is still a part of me, but that’s not all that I am,” she added, describing the journey as one of the most beautiful phases of her life.

For the unversed, at the young age of 19, Sreeja eloped with her 22-year-old boyfriend, Shirish Bharadwaj, in 2007. Following an Arya Samaj wedding, they even sought media and police protection, citing opposition from her family. The couple welcomed their daughter, Nivrithi Bharadwaj, in 2008. However, in 2011, Sreeja filed a dowry and harassment case against Shirish and his family. Their divorce was finalised in 2014. In 2016, she married businessman Kalyaan Dhev, but the two parted ways in 2022. She is the mother of two daughters, Nivrithi and Navishka.
