
After some two months of utter misery, a cruel span of seven games played to start the season without a single win as reward, there’s a bounce in the step of the Jets players now.
But now there’s a confidence level that’s slowly developing after winning two consecutive games.
Sure, the first win came against the Bengals, who have one of the worst defenses in the league, and the second came Sunday against the Browns, who might be the only team in the league with a more dire quarterback situation than the Jets.
But those wins cannot be taken away from the Jets, just like the five losses they’d suffered by six or fewer points (three of them by just two points) cannot be given back to them.
