Katie Price has revealed Lee Andrews could be out of jail very soon – as it’s reported that he will need to pay a six figure sum to be released
Katie Price has revealed Lee Andrews could be out of jail very soon. It was reported over the weekend that the former glamour model would need to put up a six-figure sum to ensure her husband’s release from jail, where he claimed he was being held on ‘spying’ charges.
It was since revealed that Lee is reportedly being held on private civil matters. Now, Katie has opened up about when she might see her husband again – if he raises the funds.
“He is coming out, I can’t wait to see him, can’t wait to have our chats, and he should be out next week, but knowing that, knowing what prisons are like even in England, you never know,” she explained.
“I’ve made it clear to Lee, I will never give him money, I’ll never give a man money, I’ve done it all my life, I’ve always been the breadwinner. My divorces, I’m the one that always has to give. I said to Lee I’ll never do it.”
Katie also said that never for once minute did she think that Dubai-based Lee had ghosted her.
“I’ve never thought Lee’s ghosted me, because I know how close we are. Never thought it, and we’ve always had conversations because we both like watching crime and stuff like that,” she told The Sun.
“You always think of scenarios, we would never do anything like that to it, or we, our relationship isn’t like that, we’re proper like this. And so it was a worry when the kidnap team then came on because they can only say from their intelligence.”
It has since been claimed that Katie’s husband Lee begged her to set up a GoFundMe to release him from prison. It had been reported that Lee could get bail if he was to pay £140,000.
Insisting she’s not a “mug”, she added: “I’m 48. I don’t need to waste my time. We get along really well and he’s so intelligent … As much as I want to listen to the women [his exes] and I’m really open-minded about it, I know what a good woman I am.
“There is no way he would mess with me, and in a way, I feel protected because I have the nation looking out for me. I’m not a mug, and when I finally see Lee, I am going to question him. And if the answers I get are not right, that will be it: I’ll be done. That’s it. And I’ll just get on with my life… and not find a man on Instagram and message him.”
