After 10 consecutive wins, with the latest unfolding Saturday night in Cleveland, the Knicks are now one away from the NBA Finals.

They defeated the Cavaliers 121-108 in Game 3 at Rocket Arena, using a balanced offense to slowly break open the game in the second half after leading by six points at the break.

And now, the Knicks will have a chance to secure their first NBA Finals berth since 1999 on Monday.

Their last loss occurred April 23, way back in the first round against the Hawks when they encountered a 2-1 series deficit and everything appeared to be spiraling out of control, but they’ve resembled a different team since.

Jalen Brunson took over in the third quarter Saturday, and eventually, by the time OG Anunoby hit a 3-pointer to give them their largest lead of the night at 17 points midway through the fourth quarter, the Knicks had done enough to move within a win of the league’s ultimate stage.
