Paris Jackson was sexually abused at the age of 14

Paris led a lonely life as she grieved the loss of her father. She found solace in d**gs to deal with anxiety. The model faced a traumatic experience at the age of 14 when a complete stranger sexually assaulted her. In a 2017 interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Paris revealed the same and stated that she didn’t immediately tell anyone about it. However, the experience was ‘really hard’ for her and was added as one of the main reasons for her depression.

Paris Jackson faced extensive abuse in a reform school

By the age of 15, Paris Jackson started taking d**gs and was addicted to them. She was then sent to a therapeutic school in Utah, where she spent many years. However, she was subjected to extensive abuse there. Paris Jackson spoke about her abusive years in her reform school when popular socialite, Paris Hilton, testified about her traumatising abuse while attending Provo Canyon School.

Paris Hilton, who spent 11 months at Provo, alleged that the staff members at the school beat her, watched her shower, gave her medication without a diagnosis, and sent her to solitary confinement without clothes.

It was at that time that Paris Jackson revealed facing similar trauma. In an interaction with C Magazine, Jackson revealed experiencing the same things at a different reformatory school in the US. Heaping praises on Hilton, Jackson said:

“I went through some very, very similar experiences with those kind of teen places. Hilton’s been through a lot and it’s amazing to see her come out of the other end a diamond.”

Paris Jackson’s suicide attempt and PTSD

Paris Jackson, in a series of Instagram posts while supporting Paris Hilton, stated that she was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder after she attended a boarding school similar to Provo Canyon School. In one of her posts, she stated:

“As a girl who also went to a behavior modification ‘boarding school’ for almost two years as a teenager, and has since been diagnosed with PTSD because of it, and continue to have nightmares and trust issues.”

The other reason for Paris’s PTSD was the constant intervention of paparazzi into her life. During an interaction with Red Table Talk, she stated she suffers long-term anxiety and trauma from enduring countless camera clicks by paparazzi since childhood. Speaking about the same, she revealed:

“I experience auditory hallucinations sometimes with camera clicks and severe paranoia and have been going to therapy for a lot of things but that included. I’ll hear a trash bag rustling and flinch in panic. I think it’s standard PTSD.”

Things became difficult for Paris after the death of her father, Michael Jackson, who loved her dearly. During Michael’s televised memorial, an 11-year-old Paris looked shattered and revealed that he had been the best father one could imagine. It was very difficult for the little girl to imagine a life without her father. She also attempted suicide to get over her grief.

Paris Jackson revealed how d**gs ruined her life

Paris was addicted to substances, and the singer recently revealed the aftermath of it. Speaking about the same, she shared having a perforated septum or a small hole in the wall separating her nostrils due to her past substance addiction. Speaking about the same in a TikTok video, she said:

“I have a really loud whistle when I breathe through my nose. That is because I have what is called a perforated septum, slightly different from a deviated septum. Don’t do d**gs kids.”
