In a recent conversation with Bollywood Hungama, R. Madhavan opened up about his role in Dhurandhar 2. The Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein actor shared that his screen time is limited in Dhurandhar Part 1, but in Dhurandhar 2, he has a key role to play. For the unversed, the audience will not have to wait too long to experience the action once again, as the makers announced that Dhurandhar 2 will hit the big screens on March 19, 2026. R. Madhavan highlighted that in Dhurandhar 2, his character will train Ranveer Singh’s character. He was quoted as saying:

“My screen presence is limited in the first part. But in the second part, which will release in March, there is a lot of my character as he trains Ranveer’s character in the skills of espionage warfare.”

R. Madhavan portrayed the role of ‘Ajit Sanyal’, inspired by India’s National Security Advisor, Ajit Kumar Doval. When the trailer of Dhurandhar surfaced online, his fans and the audience failed to recognise the actor. However, later, when makers released his first look and tagged him in the post, people were left in awe. In fact, his co-star, Arjun Rampal, too failed to recognise him on the set.

Ranveer Singh dropped a major hint about Dhurandhar 2

Social media is currently buzzing about Dhurandhar and its upcoming sequel. People who have watched the spy-action thriller can’t keep calm to experience Dhurandhar 2. The post-credit scene of Dhurandhar has left fans in a frenzy. A few days back, Danish Pandor shared a heartfelt post on his Instagram and shared his working experience with Ranveer Singh. However, it was Ranveer’s comment on the post that clearly gave a hint that something more is in store for the audience in Dhurandhar 2. His comment can be read as:

“Tu meri jaan hai! Everyone is loving you! Imagine what will happen when they experience part two! I’m overwhelmed with these words. Will hold this message close to my heart. And cherish every moment of our collaboration. Tu chha gaya mere rajjjja!!! Proud of you!! And thrilled for you!!!”

After analysing the post-credit scene of Dhurandhar, it was clear that the upcoming sequel, Dhurandhar 2, will unfold the secrets of Ranveer Singh’s character, ‘Hamza Ali Mazari’. In the upcoming sequel, the audience will experience the journey of transformation of Ranveer’s character, from ‘Jaskirat Singh’, a criminal, to ‘Hamza’. Dhurandhar 2 will feature how the Chief of IB hired ‘Jaskirat’ for the mission, Dhurandhar.

When Rakesh Bedi opened up about his role in Dhurandhar 2

In a recent conversation with ITV Blink, Rakesh Bedi opened up about his role in Dhurandhar 2. He shared that he had less screentime in Dhurandhar, while in the upcoming sequel, he will have more time. He revealed that his character in the upcoming sequel has been inspired by a real-life politician from Pakistan. He was quoted as saying:

“In Dhurandhar Part 1, I will be seen a little less, but I will be seen more in the second part. My character is very endearing and menacing. It is inspired by a real-life politician from Pakistan; my look also resembles him.”
