
Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy paid rich tributes to Telangana’s youth Koduru Anuroop Reddy, who lost his life while saving the lives of three friends at Louisiana, USA.
On behalf of the Telangana government and the people, the Chief Minister extended his deepest condolences to Anuroop’s parents, his brother Ashrit Reddy, and family members. He prayed to God for peace to Anuroop’s soul, according to a post on ‘X’ by Telangana CMO.
In a message sent to the family, the Chief Minister stated that the government would stand by the family during this profound sorrow. He noted that the news of Anuroop’s tragic death, which occurred on May 29, 2026, at the Toro Bio Park in Louisiana, USA, has left us deeply shocked.
At just 23 years old, Anuroop, who had a bright future ahead, demonstrated extraordinary courage, selfless service, and valor, standing as an inspiration to all, and commended him for it. He mentioned that in that most difficult moment, without hesitating even for a second, Anuroop jumped into the water to save his three friends who were drowning in the accident, and while this heroic act saved his friends’ lives, Anuroop’s departure from us is extremely heartbreaking.
He said that the human values, compassion, and courage displayed by Anuroop on that occasion are a testament to the highest sacrifice.
Following the Chief Minister’s instructions, MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy, along with several MLAs, went to their home and paid tributes to Anuroop’s mortal remains on Tuesday. They consoled the family members.
