RSS Sees Anti-India Plot in CJP’s Online Surge

New Delhi: As the digital footprint of the “Cockroach Janata Party” rapidly expands across social media platforms, the ideological fountainhead of the Sangh Parivar has finally taken note of the movement, describing its rise as “deeply concerning”. In its latest edition, the RSS mouthpiece Organiser describes the phenomenon in stark terms, warning that as “Bharat” (India) stands at the crossroads of a “civilisational resurgence” and technological ascendency, a “bizarre, deeply concerning” and “highly orchestrated narrative is being manufactured to derail its youth”.

Apparently concerned over this growth, the RSS publication in an article “Cockroach Syndrome: The new face of anti-India tech cynicism”, writes: “The recent digital eruption of the so-called Cockroach Janata Party is being enthusiastically hailed by a certain freebie-centric, left-leaning political ecosystem as a masterstroke of Generation Z satire”.

As this satirical movement gains endorsement from a section of the Opposition, the RSS mouthpiece attempts to unpack what it describes as a “terrifying blueprint” concealed behind the rise of the CJP. After extensively highlighting India’s “technological leap”, which it argues is “not an accident” but a “direct result” of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “focused vision”, the publication refers to the AI summit hosted in India and the shirtless protest by Youth Congress activists at the summit, to accuse the Opposition of understanding “only the politics of disruption and global humiliation”.

It then turns to the origins and rapid online spread of the CJP, presenting its rise as evidence of a deeper and more alarming political design. It writes: “The stark reality brings us back to the ideological rot peddled by the CJP.” Then it adds: “A close, serious examination of their so-called five goals reveals a terrifying blueprint for institutional collapse, masquerading as a youthful, digital rebellion.”

The CJP’s satirical demand — if legitimate votes are deleted during elections, the chief election commissioner must be arrested — was interpreted by the RSS mouthpiece as a “violent threat designed to paralyse the democratic process through sheer intimidation”. The CJP’s demand for 50 per cent quota for women in Parliament and the Union Cabinet was viewed by the Sangh publication as a “frightening ignorance of constitutional governance”. On the CJP’s demand for a 20-year ban on political defectors, the article in argues that the proposal amounts to a “totalitarian oversimplification of the democratic process”.

The mouthpiece regards the CJP’s demand for no Rajya Sabha seats or post-retirement rewards for Chief Justices as a “thinly veiled, highly reactionary remark”. The CJP’s call for action against media groups owned by the Adani and Ambani groups was described by the RSS publication as “Stalinist-Communist censorship”.

The “Cockroach Janata Party” (CJP), founded on May 16, 2026 and led by Boston-based Abhijeet Dipke, who reportedly has links to the Aam Aadmi Party, is rapidly evolving into a Gen Z-type movement, at least across social media platforms at this stage. This satirical youth-driven CJP, born from outrage against remarks by the Chief Justice of India on the country’s youth, has reportedly crossed over 13 million followers in just a few days, overtaking the BJP by a huge margin on social media platforms.

As the movement scurries through the digital ecosystem, attempts are being made to contain its spread. The CJP has reportedly been blocked on X and Instagram, and the founder alleged that its website was taken down on Saturday. Dipte posted on X: “The government has taken down our iconic website… But this dictatorial behaviour is opening the eyes of India’s youth. Our only crime is we were demanding a better future for ourselves.” He also claimed, “Six lakh cockroaches had signed a petition to demand the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan (Union education minister)”. The BJP, on the other hand, has alleged that 49 per cent of the CJP’s followers are from “Pakistan”.
