Scarlett Moffat has revealed that she will do her best to not make her son Jude feel left out after she gives birth to her second child with partner Scott Dobinson

When reality TV star Scarlett Moffat announced news of her second pregnancy, she was overjoyed at the thought of expanding her loving family. And while friends and fans across the UK rushed to congratulate the TV personality, 35, who is already a mum to three year old Jude, it seems there is one concern that continues to play on her mind.

In an exclusive chat with the Mirror, Scarlett who recently appeared on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity spin-off show in South Africa, revealed that she will make a conscious effort to make sure Jude feels included, following the birth of his baby brother.

She told us: “One thing I just love about Jude is how loving he is. But I do have a feeling that at some point he’s going to ask, ‘When is the baby going back?'”

She added: “How do you explain to a little toddler that this new baby is going to be sticking around? I just have to make sure he doesn’t feel left out. I’m watching a lot of TikToks on how to stop him from feeling like that.”

And while this is perhaps a concern among many women who are mothers to more than one child, Scarlett is fortunate to have a strong support network around her to help with parenting two children under five.

This not only includes her partner Scott Dobinson, but also her parents Betty and Mark.

She added: “Oh my God, it’s so lovely for them. Mam and Dad had two girls, so for them having boys is great. Dad’s already so excited to take them to the football. “

She added: “And Scott’s mum and dad are amazing too. I see where he gets his loveliness from.”

Scarlett believes she was born to be a boy mum as she is completely unfazed by the chaos that comes with it. The star who shot to fame on Gogglebox in 2014 continued: “I like the spontaneity of boys. That feeling of, is he gonna jump off this slide? I think I’m made for that type of danger.”

She went on to say: “My friends have little girls and they’re so cute, having their little tea parties and stuff and I’m all for that… but I love the rough and tumble boys bring.”

Back in 2023, Scarlett gave birth to Jude at just 35 weeks, which led to him being admitted into the neonatal intensive care unit, NICU.

Earlier this month she opened up about that heart-breaking moment in her life while on the CBeebies Parenting Helpline podcast.

She said: “Now as a mum who had my little Jude five weeks premature where, he ended up spending time in NICU and I had a really good chat with my friend Emma, who said during that time, if she was totally honest, she didn’t know what the best thing she could say was.”
