However, now Katy went all in and made her relationship public on Saturday, December 6, 2025, as she posted a series of personal photos and videos on Instagram.
The photos, taken during their trip to Japan, mark the first time the couple has appeared together on social media. This comes after their public debut as a couple in October and signals a new milestone in their relationship, which began earlier this year.
Katy shared pics and some videos from their trip as part of her ongoing Lifetimes Tour. While one photo of the duo featured them having food, another video shows them sitting together and sharing moments at an art exhibit.

While in Tokyo, Perry and Trudeau met with former Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and his wife, Yuko, on Wednesday, December 3. Kishida shared a photo on X featuring the group standing beside a Christmas tree and referred to Perry as Trudeau’s “partner.”
He wrote, “Former Canadian Prime Minister @JustinTrudeau visited Japan with his partner and joined my wife and me for lunch.”
Kishida opened up on his past collaboration with Trudeau, stating: “During his time as prime minister, we met multiple times as fellow leaders, and when I visited Canada, we worked together to strengthen bilateral relations, including formulating the ‘Japan-Canada Action Plan.’ I am delighted that we continue to maintain this friendship in this way.”
Meanwhile, coming back to Katy and Justin, both have separated from their previous partners and are now enjoying the new phase of their lives.
