Taylor Swift squirmed in her seat when Travis Kelce was caught on camera at the basketball. The A-listers, both 36, had front row seats stateside to watch Travis’ hometown Cleveland Cavaliers take on the New York Knicks on Saturday.
The pair, who are getting hitched on July 3 after Travis popped the question last year, looked like they were enjoying themselves when the game kicked off. However, things took a turn when the jumbotron camera panned to the NFL star, who wasted no time in making the most of the moment.
As the crowd went wild, Travis proudly chugged a can of Garage Beer, which he co-owns with brother, Jason. His fans erupted, whooping and cheering. However, Shake It Off star, Taylor, cutting a casual figure in balloon jeans and a black jacket, was seen with her head in her hands during the stunt before laughing politely.
An excited Travis, dressed in double denim, sporting a baseball cap, could be seen trying to pump up the crowd as the Cavaliers fought to stay alive in the playoffs. However, as their efforts failed, the Kansas Chiefs star appeared to be sleeping as he was later seen dozing on Taylor’s shoulder.
The power couple are set to get married on July 3 in New York City, though one guest has expressed frustration after receiving their invite to the ‘wedding of the year’.
The insider who claimed to have received an invitation to the star-studded nuptials, says they may skip it altogether after being denied a plus-one.
After realising they will not be able to bring a guest, the anonymous attendee told the Daily Mail. “I mean, what am I supposed to do? Go alone? That is so awkward.
“I don’t think I am going to attend because I don’t want to go by myself, and I am not sure I will know too many people there. I mean, sorry, I am not friends with Gigi and Bella Hadid!”
While the exasperated invitee acknowledged that a small New York City venue may mean a tighter guest list, they fumed, “It’s not the best feeling. It’s the wedding of the year, but I may sit this one out.”
A star-studded list of potential attendees has reportedly already received their invites, including Zoë Kravitz, the Haim sisters, Graham Norton, and Chiefs coach Andy Reid.
Taylor’s besties Selena Gomez, Bella and Gigi Hadid, Blake Lively, and Sabrina Carpenter are expected to attend the wedding, as well as Travis’ Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany.
