Weather Forecast: Cold wave continues to grip the northern states of India. Hilly states like Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir are receiving snowfalls, with more snow showers expected in the coming days. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a rain alert in three states and a fog alert has been issued for 12 cities. The weather department further informed that maximum temperatures in some cities could drop below 15 degrees Celsius, while minimum temperatures could drop below 5 degrees Celsius. Weather Forecast: Rain Warning Issued In Three States
The weather department has issued a rain alert for three southern states – Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Andhra Pradesh. Mild showers are expected in these states and a Union Territory. Tamil Nadu recently experienced heavy showers accompanied by strong winds due to Cyclone Ditwah.
Weather Forecast: Dense Fog Warning In 12 Major Cities
Major cities like – Kanpur, Lucknow, Shimla, Nainital, Jaipur, Bhopal, Patna, Bhagalpur, Kolkata, Kota, Delhi, and Manali are expected to witness dense fog in the morning and at night. Heavy snowfall is possible in Manali and Shimla in Himachal Pradesh.
Weather Forecast: IMD Prediction For Delhi?
The cold wave will intensify in the capital city from today. IMD stated that a significant drop in temperature is expected. The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 25 degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature is expected to be 8 degrees Celsius.
Weather Forecast: IMD Prediction For UP?
Dense fog to blanket parts of Uttar Pradesh today. Dense fog will be visible in cities including – Lucknow, Kanpur, Agra, Barabanki, Bareilly, Muzaffarnagar, and Gautam Buddha Nagar in the morning. Winds will also blow at speeds of 15 to 20 kmph.
