Salman Khan and the entire family is currently mourning the loss of their close friend, Kumod Raney. For the unversed, Kumod unexpectedly passed away on June 9, 2026, in Mumbai. It is worth noting that the cause of Kumod’s death has not been revealed. The death grabbed attention after Salman Khan was spotted crying at his close friend’s funeral.

For those who do not know, Salman Khan’s close friend, Kumod Raney was an established Dubai-based entrepreneur. As per multiple reports, she was also the founder of Reign Beauty Bar in Dubai, which is a luxury beauty place located in Dubai. The Beauty Bar includes several Bollywood celebrities as its members. It is worth mentioning that even though Kumod maintained a private life, she had very strong connections in the film industry, possibly due to her friendship with Salman Khan. Unlike most entrepreneurs, Kumod barely gave any interviews. She only used her IG handle to talk about her business.

Was Kumod Raney married?

Since Kumod Raney lived a very private life, there is no information about her husband or boyfriend; however, if reports are to be believed, Kumod has a son named Kabir. According to Kumod’s Instagram handle, she has often shared photos with Kabir. Even though she didn’t confirm her relationship with Kabir, multiple X (formerly Twitter) users claimed that Kabir is her son. Coming to Kumod Raney’s Instagram account, the late entrepreneur had a massive following of 15,000. She had a public account and had shared only 633 posts. It is worth mentioning that Kumod did not mention anything in the bio, except the link for her Threads account. On the other hand, Kumod’s alleged son, Kabir has a private account with only 1,620 followers and 6 posts. His Instagram bio reads, “nyc/dubai.”

Makeup artist, Sheeba Iqbal pens heartfelt tribute for Kumod Raney

A few hours ago, a popular makeup artist named Sheeba Iqbal took to her Instagram Stories, to share a photo of Kumod Raney. Along with it, she penned a heartfelt note, in which she revealed that the last entrepreneur was not just a boss to her, but also a mentor. Sheeba explained that it was Kumod’s confidence and guidance that shaped her entire career. Her note can be read as:

“Today, I remember my beloved boss Kumud Rane Madam with deep respect and gratitude. You were not just a boss to me. You were a kind leader, a mentor, and someone who always encouraged and supported the people around you. While working with you, I learned not only about my profession but also about dedication, professionalism, and the importance of kindness towards others. Your guidance shaped my career, and your trust gave me confidence in my work.”

Further, Sheeba Iqbal praised Kumod Raney’s kindness and stated that the impact the late entrepreneur created on people, will always stay with her close ones. She concluded her note by praying for Kumod’s peace and hoped that she received the best place in heaven. Her note can be read as:

“Your kindness and support will always remain with me. Though you are no longer among us today, the impact you had on our lives will stay forever.
