وقال المتحدث الرسمي لوزارة الدفاع العقيد الركن سعود العطوان، أن العدوان الإيراني الآثم استهدف اليوم منشأة حكومية شمال البلاد وآليات مدنية في جزيرة بوبيان ما أسفر عن أضرار مادية دون تسجيل أي إصابة بشرية.
وكانت رئاسة أركان الجيش الكويتي، قد أوضحت أن أصوات الانفجارات التي قد تُسمع هي نتيجة اعتراض منظومات الدفاع الجوي للهجمات المعادية، وليست ناجمة عن سقوط مقذوفات.
ودعت رئاسة الأركان جميع المواطنين والمقيمين إلى التقيد بتعليمات الأمن والسلامة الصادرة عن الجهات المختصة.
