وأعلنت القيادة العامة لقوة دفاع البحرين أن إيران تواصل نهجها العدائي الممنهج من خلال اعتداءاتها الآثمة التي تستهدف الأعيان المدنية في المملكة، مؤكدةً أن أسلحتها ووحداتها العسكرية كافة في أعلى درجات الجاهزية وعلى أهبة الاستعداد الدفاعي لحماية أمن الوطن وصون مقدراته.
وشددت القيادة العامة -وفقًا لوكالة أنباء البحرين- على أن تعمُّد استخدام الصواريخ والطائرات المسيرة لاستهداف المدنيين والممتلكات الخاصة يمثل انتهاكًا صارخًا للقانون الدولي الإنساني.
