وأفاد المعهد العالي للصحة في إيطاليا أن الحالات شملت 401 إصابة عصبية، وهي الأشد خطورة، بينها خمس حالات وافدة، فيما بلغ معدل الوفيات بين المصابين بالأشكال العصبية 14.1%، مقارنة بـ19.2% العام الماضي.

فيروس غرب النيل
وينتشر الفيروس في 85 مقاطعة موزعة على 20 جهة إيطالية، وخلال الفترة نفسها من العام الماضي، سُجلت 740 إصابة و78 وفاة.
وفي سياق متصل، سجلت إيطاليا 346 إصابة مؤكدة بحمى الضنك، بينها 68 حالة محلية، دون تسجيل وفيات.
