أجلت السلطات في الفلبين أكثر من 150 ألف شخص يوم الاثنين، من مناطق ساحلية يتوقع أن تتأثر بالإعصار كالماجي الذي يقترب من جزر أرخبيل فيساياس.
ترافق الإعصار رياح تصل سرعتها إلى 140 كيلومترًا في الساعة، وفق الهيئة الوطنية للأرصاد الجوية.
وأفاد نائب مدير مكتب الدفاع المدني رافايليتو أليخاندرو بأن عمليات الإجلاء جرت لما يصل إلى 156 ألف شخص على سبيل الاحتراز.
وأضاف أنه من المتوقع أن تصل العاصفة إلى اليابسة بعد منتصف الليل بتوقيت الفلبين.
