وبدا القمر في المشهد قريبًا بصريًا من النجمة الحمراء العملاقة، ما أضفى مشهدًا لافتًا في الأفق الجنوبي الشرقي، إذ يُعد هذا الاقتران ظاهرة بصرية ناجمة عن تداخل خطوط الرؤية من منظور الأرض.
