Jennifer Coolidge always commits to the bit.

In a new interview with Variety, Hilary Duff recalled that the “White Lotus” actress, 64, was “mean” to her on the set of “A Cinderella Story,” in which Coolidge played Duff’s evil stepmother.

“It’s been so much fun to watch her career because she just goes there in such a big way that it was really impressive and slightly intimidating as like a teenager,” said Duff, 38.

“She was, like, mean to me, so it was a little scary ’cause I was only 15 and she was just, you know, mean to me cause she’s my evil stepmother,” the “Come Clean” singer continued. “At the time, I think I had to be like, ‘You’re filming a movie. You’re filming a movie.’”

“A Cinderella Story” stars Duff as Sam Montgomery, a San Fernando Valley high school student who is being raised by her cruel stepmom Fiona (Coolidge) after her parents’ deaths.

The cast also includes Chad Michael Murray as Austin, Regina King as Rhonda, Madeline Zima as Brianna, Andrea Avery as Gabriella and Dan Byrd as Carter.

Duff previously spoke about her relationship with Coolidge during a 2023 appearance on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.”

“I can’t even begin to tell you how much I’ve just been, like, obsessed with this past year for Jennifer Coolidge. It’s been really cool to see,” Duff said, referring to Coolidge’s “The White Lotus” success.

“My favorite moment was her rubbing salmon on her face while filming A Cinderella Story and talking about the omegas,” Duff shared. “My son actually started eating sushi when he was like 3 and had a similar moment, and I looked and I was like, ‘You’re just rubbing raw salmon on your face.’ And it’s, like, soft and he liked it, then it reminded me of her. She’s just everything.”

The “Agent Cody Banks” actress also called Coolidge “a lovely human being” who was finally having her “moment.”

“I think it just reminds me that being in this industry, I feel so lucky that anything can happen at any stage,” Duff added. “It’s so dope.”

In August, Murray, 44, gushed over Duff in an interview with People.

“Hilary’s awesome. If you’ve ever met Hilary or if you’ve ever seen her even walking down the street, she glows,” the “One Tree Hill” alum said. “She as an an aura that she can walk into a room and you just go right to her. She just has this magnetic presence, and she can light up a room.”

“That’s why she’s been so successful for so many years,” Murray continued. “She was awesome and I just remember her and her team and everybody, like, her teacher, they were so cool, so nice. Everybody was the best. Her mom, the whole team, everybody I got along with over there.”
