Featured tee time for Round 1
On Thursday, World No 2 Rory McIlroy makes his long-awaited 2026 PGA Tour season debut. And he picked a good place to do it. The five-time major champion is the defending champion this week, having won last year’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, which was his 2025 Tour debut.
This year, the Pebble Pro-Am is a Signature Event, the PGA Tour’s first of the season. That means McIlroy will be fighting for a $3.6 million winner’s share.
But McIlory, who started his season on the DP World Tour, will face his toughest competition yet at Pebble Beach. Eighty of the best PGA Tour pros are in the field this week, including World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler. In two starts this season, Scheffler has a win and a T3, further extending his lead over McIlroy in the Official World Golf Ranking.
McIlroy will play Spyglass Hill on Thursday and tee off for the opening round at 12:24 p.m. ET alongside his amateur partner Jeff Rhodes, as well as fellow pro Ryan Fox and Fox’s amateur partner James Dunne.
