Heading into this week’s event in Houston, Brooks Koepka is still in search of the first win of his PGA Tour comeback.

Koepka had a shaky start after re-joining the Tour from LIV Golf earlier this year, but he’s looked sharp in recent weeks. He’s finished T18 or better in his last three starts, including a T9 at the Cognizant Classic.

One thing Koepka fortunately does not have to fight for at the Texas Children’s Houston Open is a Masters invite. The five-time major winner is already qualified for the 2026 Masters thanks to his 2023 PGA Championship victory.

But that doesn’t mean he doesn’t want to win this week in Houston, which would represent his 10th PGA Tour victory. He also has plenty of work to do to prepare for the Masters, where he hopes to improve on his two career runner-up finishes.
