وشمل الإنذار 12 محافظة؛ الجبيل والخبر والدمام والقطيف ورأس تنورة، الخفجي والنعيرية وقرية العليا والأحساء والعديد وبقيق وذعبلوتن.
ونبه المركز من ارتفاع في درجات الحرارة من 49 إلى 50 درجة، من الساعة 11 صباح اليوم الأحد حتى 5 مساء.كما أصدر الأرصاد إنذارا أصفر شمل حفر الباطن، منبها من موجة حارة وارتفاع درجة الحرارة من 47 إلى 48 مئوية.
