TEHRAN – Some 500 publishing houses and bookstores have declared, in a message, their allegiance to the third leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran.
The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, was martyred during U.S.-Israeli airstrikes that targeted his office in central Tehran last Saturday. A week later, his son, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei was appointed as the new Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran by the Assembly of Experts, Mehr reported.
The message of the publishers and booksellers reads as follows:
“The news of the martyrdom of the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei was immense and heartbreaking, burning the souls of the leaders’ lovers both inside and outside the country”.
“This enlightened leader, who spent his noble and blessed life in struggle and jihad, and was never heedless of guiding the Islamic Ummah towards excellence and progress, became the great architect of Islamic civilization”.
“Imam Khomeini (RA) planted the sapling of the Islamic Republic and after his passing, entrusted it to Ayatollah Khamenei. For 37 years, with prudent management and spiritual leadership, like a compassionate and skilled gardener, he transformed that sacred sapling into a blessed tree whose roots are firm and whose branches are in the sky”.
“The Martyr Leader was the standard-bearer of the discourse of resistance and the revival of the dignity of the Islamic Ummah; a leader who, by relying on deep faith, strategic foresight, and trust in the capacities of the Iranian nation, transformed Islamic Iran into a source of inspiration for the free nations of the world. Undoubtedly, the name and path of that martyred leader will shine like a bright star in history”.
“That mujahid and wise jurist clearly knew that the great Iranian nation was at its final historical juncture to reach the summit, and it was evident to him what great epics a nation he had nurtured over these 37 years was capable of creating. Therefore, with a calm heart and a certain conscience, he left this world”.
“After his demise, the righteous successor of the Martyr Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, was introduced by the Assembly of Experts to lead this grateful and aware Ummah”.
Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei is a recognized revolutionary figure in academic, political, and seminary circles, who has been present for many years in various fields of struggle and jihad alongside the Martyr Leader. He possesses and has had practical experience with the theoretical foundations of the Islamic Revolution, the high ideals of Imam Khomeini, and governance in the Islamic system. Having a precise understanding of the country’s strategic issues and capacities, opposition to corruption, revolutionary spirit, and courage and prudence in decision-making are among his prominent characteristics”.
“We, the publishers and booksellers, while offering condolences on the martyrdom of the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, pledge our allegiance to Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, sincerely, purely, and knowingly. We vow to devote all our efforts in all arenas, especially in the arena of culture, thought, and the dissemination of the teachings of Islam and the Revolution, preserving the values of the Islamic Revolution, strengthening national unity, and confronting the hybrid warfare of the enemies”.
