Wipro Q2 Results FY26: IT major Wipro Limited announced its Q2 FY26 results on Thursday, reporting a 3 per cent decline in net profit on a sequential basis, even as revenue grew 2.5 per cent quarter-on-quarter.
Quarterly performance (QoQ)
Wipro’s consolidated revenue rose to Rs 22,697.30 crore in Q2 FY26, compared with Rs 22,134.60 crore in the previous quarter.
Net profit slipped nearly 3 per cent sequentially to Rs 3,246.20 crore from Rs 3,330.40 crore.
EBITDA increased 4 per cent to Rs 3,680.70 crore, while EBITDA margin stood at 16.2 per cent, up slightly from 16.0 per cent in the previous quarter.
On YoY basis
On a year-on-year basis, consolidated net profit grew 1.2 per cent from Rs 3,209 crore, and revenue rose 1.8 per cent from Rs 22,302 crore in the same quarter last year.
IT services margin and key factors
The IT services operating margin for Q2 FY26 stood at 16.7 per cent, which was impacted by a Rs 116.5 crore provision related to the bankruptcy of a customer, the company said.
Excluding this impact, adjusted IT services margin was 17.2 per cent, indicating a 0.1 per cent contraction QoQ and a 0.4 per cent expansion YoY.
Q3 FY26 guidance
For the third quarter, Wipro expects revenue from its IT services business to be in the range of $2,591 million to $2,644 million, implying a sequential growth of -0.5 per cent to +1.5 per cent in constant currency terms.
The guidance does not include revenue from the recently announced acquisition of Harman Digital Transformation Solutions, the company clarified.
Wipro Q2 Results: Deal wins and attrition
Wipro reported strong momentum in deal signings with large deal bookings at $2.9 billion, marking a 90.5 per cent year-on-year growth.
Overall deal bookings stood at $4.7 billion in Q2 FY26.
Employee attrition eased marginally to 14.9 per cent, compared with 15.1 per cent in Q1 FY26 and 14.5 per cent in Q2 FY25.
