George Springer helped the Blue Jays fly back to the World Series for the first time in more than 30 years.

The Blue Jays designated hitter sent a 1-0 pitch from Mariners pitcher Eduard Bazardo into the centerfield stands for a three-run home run in the bottom of the seventh to erase a two-run deficit in what would end up being the game-winning hit in a 4-3 victory for Toronto in ALCS Game 7 at Rogers Centre on Monday night.

Spring sent the 96 mph sinker several rows deep and whipped Rogers Center into a frenzy as the Blue Jays took their first lead of the night.

The moment was likely extra special for Springer, who had been hit in the right knee by a fastball from Bryan Woo in Game 5 and had been a question mark to play in Game 6.

The Mariners had taken a 1-0 lead in the first inning before Toronto got the run back in the bottom half of the first.

The win sends the Blue Jays back to the World Series since they won the title in 1993.
