On the occasion of Bhai Dooj, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni recently shared her thoughts on her relationship with her brother, Ranbir Kapoor. She also mentioned that the passing of their father strengthened their bond.
During a conversation with the Hindustan Times, Riddhima said, “Ranbir and I have always had a very normal sibling relationship despite growing up in a famous family. At home, we were just like any other brother and sister teasing, fighting, covering up for each other sometimes- of course, there were times we’d keep little secrets from our parents but nothing major. We’ve always been fiercely protective of each other, and that’s never changed.”

She added, “Losing Papa brought us even closer. Our bond has always been strong, but now it’s deeper.” Being a very caring sister, Riddhima refers to Ranbir as “her biggest cheerleader” because he always offers her honest advice.
During an earlier discussion with India Today, Riddhima expressed that Ranbir is the “best” brother. She mentioned that he is always available to offer advice whenever she needs it. She further explained that while filming a movie, she would often seek his opinion, asking, “Does this look okay? Should I change something?” Riddhima said that Ranbir always replied with kindness.
She also referred to Ranbir as the man of the house. She said, “He’s a pillar in the family now. He’s there for me, for our mother, he’s always around, always dependable.” Riddhima continued, expressing that Ranbir is a great son, an amazing brother, a hands-on dad, and also a truly wonderful husband. She said, “Above all, he’s a great human being.”
Meanwhile, both Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt earlier shared some heartwarming pictures from their last Diwali celebrations at their Vaastu home, before they move in to their new residence. On the work front, both will be seen together next in Love & War alongside Vicky Kaushal.
