Paige Louise Williams, who grew up on a council estate in Droylsden, Greater Manchester, has opened up about the highs and lows of 2025 in a TikTok carousel to keep it real with fans

Paige Louise Williams, founder of cosmetics company P. Louise, keeps it real with her fans, and she’s recently opened up in a TikTok carousel about the highs and lows of this year, sharing that she never thought she’d be in this position, but also admitting that she’s had some upsetting moments.

From day one, she’s never shied away from her humble beginnings, saying she created her beauty empire with “no money” from scratch. “Through the highs and lows, I’m forever grateful I get to call this my life,” she wrote as her caption. She then opened up with fans about what her highs and lows have been in 2025.

First off, the 32-year-old, who grew up on a council estate in Droylsden, Greater Manchester, admitted that there were times when she questioned whether she “wanted to continue with the brand,” as she was getting “torn apart” online for various reasons.

But she had the amazing opportunity to speak with a “world-renowned brand” in Paris about her success with P. Louise so far.

And she premiered her documentary in a private cinema with the people who mean the most to her.

However, devastatingly, she invested £300,000 into making Bad B**** Energy phone cases for fans to purchase, and it “failed,” leaving her to lose the money she invested.

But she said she’s always trying to “improve the experiences” her customers have when they visit her stores in real life so they can have the most “magical time”.

Paige’s business made it onto The Times’ list of fastest-growing companies, received significant media attention, and even secured a store at Trafford Palazzo.

However, the shop “failed deadline,” which was a massive blow for Paige and her team. She revealed that all staff from the Trafford Centre store have been temporarily “relocated to the Empire in Stockport.”

Despite this setback, she enjoyed a “summer full of memories that will last a lifetime” and managed to deck out the Empire for Christmas in just 24 hours, thanks to her team’s hard work.

She also set up her own lip oil station at the Empire, where customers can personalise their lip oil packaging with charms, and she “took over the cafe at the Empire” to perfect her menu.

However, some issues hit her “deeply to heart,” including customers “questioning” her “integrity” over her Christmas pyjamas.

She admitted to making an “honest mistake in the PJ description,” when the website incorrectly stated the pyjamas were 100% cotton, instead of the actual 95% viscose and 5% elastane.

Instead of accepting it as a “mistake,” many fans questioned her integrity, something that has “weighed heavily” on Paige.

On a personal note, Paige shared that she had lost a significant amount of weight and “felt great” as a result. However, she acknowledged picking up several “unhealthy habits” due to “doing long hours” and overworking.

Now, she’s “preparing for Black Friday,” where she and the team will “hopefully put all of our learnings and failures into action from previous years”.

Her “first girls’ holiday made it out of the group chat,” and she and her staff “broke the record and made £2m on a live” on TikTok.

Yet when Pinkmas was scrapped, she revealed it felt like her “whole world fell apart”.

Pinkmas was due to happen at the Trafford Centre, featuring a P. Louise pantomime, ice skating, and much more.

Tickets cost £60 off-peak and £80 during peak periods. Nevertheless, it was axed because of “licensing issues”.

To compensate, Paige announced that all ticket holders would receive full refunds, and ‘as a thank you for their patience and understanding, every ticket holder will receive the following:

  • A full refund for your Pinkmas booking
  • A complimentary visit to the P.Louise Empire
  • Access to the Lip Oil Room at The Empire
  • Full complimentary access to the Christmas Experience
  • PLUS a £20 drinks voucher per booking

Those who can’t get to The Empire will be sent a P.Louise 12 Sleighs of Christmas Advent Calendar (worth £200) per booking instead.

But she reached 1 million followers on TikTok, enjoyed a photoshoot which helped her realise how “confident” she is in her “own skin,” explaining that “younger Paige could only dream of this,” and she secured her “first Bad B**** collab,” vowing that there were “many more to come”.

It’s crucial that Paige reveals her struggles alongside her triumphant moments, as it makes her much more relatable to her supporters.
