The Selling Sunset agent left her co-stars gobsmacked when she made a brutal comment about Chrishell Stause’s deceased parents.

Selling Sunset’s Nicole Young has doubled down on her ‘below the belt’ comment that sparked chaos in season nine.

The 39-year-old left her co-stars stunned when she took a swipe at Chrishell Stause’s late parents, during Amanza Smith’s ‘girlsgiving’ dinner party.

Nicole’s alleged drug use was brought up during the meal, which left her defensive.

As tensions rose, she told Chrishell: “Honey, you’re confusing me with your parents, okay? You seem to be obsessed with drugs.”

The other O Group agents were left gobsmacked and forced Nicole to leave dinner, but has she reflected on the brutal remark?

In the series reunion, now streaming on Netflix, Nicole makes a brief appearance and fights her corner.

When asked why she made the remark, Nicole told host Tan France: “Someone had come at me about, accused me [of] drug use, yet again. And I was showing that there is a proven record of projection. Enough is enough.”

The reality star then went on to clarify: “[It’s been] repeated that I’d said ‘dead parents’. I know it’s only one-word difference, but that is a very, very big difference from saying ‘dead parents’ so I just want to make that clear.”

Amanza then stepped in, arguing that the phrase ‘dead parents’ wouldn’t have made a difference because Nicole knows that Chrishell’s parents are deceased.

“I think that hitting below the belt in that manner is disgusting. There’s no difference between saying ‘parents’ or ‘dead parents’ when you know that the person’s parents aren’t with us any longer,” she started.

“You might as well have just said it because we all know.”

The crew then banded together to force an apology out of Nicole, with presenter Tan repeatedly asking her if she believes her comment warrants one.

Sticking by her words, Nicole said: “I was pointing out that I have nothing to do with this obsession and this situation.”

Newcomer Sandra Vergara even jumped in, stating: “You don’t get to decide how you hurt someone. You clean up your side of the street, that’s it. You apologise.”

Chrishell was notably quiet throughout the conversation until Nicole directly asked how the jab impacted her.

Chrishell explained: “I’m glad that you haven’t dealt with a loss where you would then know that it’s just territory you don’t charter into.

“So I’m happy that you don’t actually get it. Because I hope nobody has to get it and I hate to share that club with anybody.”

Despite the back-and-forth with her co-stars, Nicole did not formally apologise.

Before her exit, Tan once again gave her the floor.

But Nicole offered a shaky apology, saying: “Well, I would like to let you know, and apologise for the intent that was taken from it.”

The Netflix cast was left visibly frustrated by Nicole’s lack of “accountability”. However, Jason and Brett confirmed that she wasn’t fired following the comment, contrary to viewers’ assumptions.
