‘BB19’ Finalist, Tanya Mittal Opens Up On Being Called ‘Fake’, ‘One Problem That I Saw In People…’

The fan-favourite show, Bigg Boss 19 has finally come to an end. For the unversed, the grand finale episode aired on December 7, 2025, and Gaurav Khanna lifted the trophy and took home Rs. 50 lakhs. However, the top 5 contestants of the show apart from Gaurav were Amaal Mallik, Farrhana Bhatt, Pranit More and Tanya Mittal. Throughout the show, the spiritual influencer often made headlines with her luxurious life. Recently, Tanya opened up about people calling her personality fake.

Tanya Mittal believes being in top 4 was her ‘biggest victory’

Recently, the spiritual influencer, Tanya Mittal sat down for a candid conversation, during which she opened up about her Bigg Boss 19 journey. For the unversed, Tanya was one of the finalists and had reached top 4. As quoted by ABP, Tanya Mittal said:

“My journey has been like searching for a diamond in the rough. Usually, before finding the diamond, there are lots of black particles that fall on you, it breaks you, and you reach a point where you want to give up. It’s been a very tough journey for me. I am yet to find that diamond, I am trying very hard and not giving up. The biggest victory for me in life is that I have come so far.”

Tanya Mittal shuts down people, who labelled her ‘fake’

During the same interview, Tanya Mittal also opened up about the people, who called her ‘fake’ throughout her journey. Tanya shared that inside the house, she realised that the claims she made are often expected from a man, which is the main reason why people were unable to digest it. In her words:

“One problem that I saw in people was that, whether it was bodyguards or a lavish lifestyle, we always expect men to maintain that. The first time a woman like this came who was not a politician or celebrity or movie star, yet she maintains bodyguards, goes to Dubai for a dessert, so it became very questionable for people. I want to make myself feel like a star without being one. Is it a mistake? I will make sure to give myself all that happiness which others find ‘too much’. I am too much, and if they don’t find a man like this too much, then they shouldn’t judge me either.”

Tanya Mittal opens up on the opportunity given by Ekta Kapoor

It is worth mentioning that during the journey, Tanya Mittal was offered a show by Ekta Kapoor. In the same interview, the influencer opened up about the same and shared that it is a dream come true for her. She also mentioned that she has no idea what Ekta Kapoor has for her. She was quoted as saying:

“Ekta ma’am has been a dream come true for me. I have followed her since childhood, especially as a girl who is taking care of her family and is such a powerful person. I don’t know what Ekta ma’am has to offer. We just spoke a few lines that day, and she made the offer, after which I was hit by a plank. I will meet her now and see what the offer is and what I do with it.”
