At the mere age of nine years, Brille Brie Bird passed away. She had been through a tough battle with stage-four cancer. Her mother, Kendra Bird, announced her daughter’s demise with an Instagram post and called her a miracle. While Brie’s life wasn’t far easy one, she gave hope to many. And at one point in Brie’s tumultuous journey, her mother believed that she was cancer-free for 22 months.

The mother of the late nine-year-old influencer revealed her daughter’s diagnosis. She often shared about her journey on Instagram. In a post on October 30, 205, Kendra Bird talked about her daughter’s diagnosis. Kendra, in one of her followers’ questions, revealed the heartbreaking moment when she found her daughter’s cancer had relapsed. She added that her daughter was cancer-free for 22 months. She wrote:
“They claim she was cancer free for about 22 months, and what was showing on her scans was just from ‘scaring’ from treatment. Then a month and a half after a ‘clear scan,’ she was full blown stage 4 again, covered head to toe. Not sure what they saw was accurate.”
The couple slept in their house’s living room with their daughter, Brie. She revealed that she and her husband would take shifts at night so that someone was always awake with their daughter. She would take the first shift till about 4 a.m., and then her husband would wake up and tend to their daughter’s next rounds of medicine at 6 in the morning. The mother once revealed how badly she waited for a miracle, but a part of her had surrendered to God’s will. She said:
“As much as I want the miracle so badly, l feel like the ‘realistic’ part of my mind is grasping for my heart, trying to pull it back into my chest, and tell my soul that I need to surrender. I’m hurting. Every day feels heavy.”
It is worth mentioning that in October 2025, the Bird family had celebrated early Christmas as they had known it was their last Christmas with their daughter. They had decked up their house in festive decor and lined the fireplace with gifts. Bird is the eldest of her three siblings.

On December 12, 2025, Brielle’s mother, Kendra, took to the IG handle and announced the demise of her daughter. She revealed that her daughter’s purpose is fulfilled. She showed the world the goodness of God and brought many closer to divine light. The mother, in a heart-wrenching note, shared that she believes her daughter was sent to Jesus.

In her long note, Kendra further mentioned that they would always keep the playroom’s light on and bedroom door open so that she could come in. She added that they would never stop sharing about their’s journey and the life she lived. An excerpt from the long note could be read as:
“We will look for you in all the details, especially the dragonfly’s. We will never stop sharing your story. Please come visit us often. Your bedroom door is always open, and we’ll leave the playroom light on. You did it Brielle, you did everything with grace! I can only imagine the incredible reunion, and I’m so jealous; but I know you ran straight to Jesus.”
The cause of death of Brielle Nicole Bird
The nine-year-old influencer Brie Bird had been battling with cancer for five years. She was first diagnosed with a stage 4 neuroblastoma in 2020. At that time, her mother shared her story and revealed that her daughter had an 8-cm tumour in her abdomen, in addition to the cancer, and it had spread to her back. However, after two years, they announced that their daughter was cancer-free, giving a sigh of relief to those who followed them. But in January 2024, the family revealed that Brie’s neuroblastoma had returned. During that time, in a post, Kendra heartbreakingly announced that it’s the hardest thing in the world to let your own kid know that the cancer returned.
