During her time at the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Srishti remained focused on achieving her IAS dream. She did not allow anything else to distract her from it, including sleep, rest, or taking leave from work when needed. While Srishti worked 8-9 hours each day, she also studied after her job finished and was willing to work through various adversities; however, she persevered and ultimately was able to crack her UPSC exams on her first attempt. She scored an All India Rank(AIR) 6. Srishti’s success is a testament to how individuals can accomplish their UPSC ambitions while still maintaining a day job.
Srishti Dabas hails from Delhi. It has been reported that Srishti Dabas grew up in a separated family; Srishti was raised by her mother after her parents separated when she was very small. Despite her difficult upbringing, Srishti’s mother worked extremely hard to provide Srishti with the best opportunities to succeed. Determined to honor her mother’s efforts, she vowed to make her proud through her achievements.
Srishti was an exceptionally bright student. Once she completed her intermediate education, she obtained a Bachelor’s in Political Science from Indraprastha College for Women, which is part of Delhi University; after this, she enrolled in IGNOU to obtain her Master’s degree in Political Science. Srishti began preparing for the UPSC Civil Services Exam once she completed her Master’s education.
