Vicky Kaushal, who recently embraced fatherhood, opened up about what being a father means to him. Vicky and his wife, actress Katrina Kaif, welcomed a baby boy on November 7, 2025. While Vicky has resumed work, Katrina is still enjoying her motherhood phase with her munchkin. Almost more than a month later, Vicky made his first appearance outside Mumbai after the birth of his child, where he attended an event in Delhi.

At the event, Vicky was asked that after mastering the skills of being an incredible actor as well as a dancer, how is his life treating him when it comes to changing diapers. Laughing at the question, the actor told NDTV, “I am better at changing diapers than acting. I’d just like to say that.”
Opening up about fatherhood and admitting that travelling to a different city so soon after his son’s birth was not easy, Vicky also said, “It’s very tough (to leave the city after becoming a father). But one day when he watches this, he’ll be proud of his dad. I can’t express in words what it means to be a father.”
Katrina and Vicky Ring 4 Years of Marriage
On December 9, 2025, Vicky and Katrina marked four years of their wedding. Taking to Instagram to mark the occasion, Vicky shared a sweet selfie featuring Katrina.
Vicky captioned the post, “Celebrating today… blissful, grateful and sleep deprived. Happy 4 to us,” with a special nod to their newborn son.
Vicky and Katrina got married on December 9, 2021, in an intimate ceremony at Six Senses Fort Barwara in Rajasthan.

Vicky Kaushal was last seen in Chhaava, where he played the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Directed by Laxman Utekar, the film also featured Rashmika Mandanna and emerged as one of the year’s biggest box office hits, earning Rs 708.5 crore nett in India.
