Radnicki climbed to the top of the Premier VRL League standings. The Kragujevac-based team defeated Buducnost in Podgorica 25:10 in the 8th round. But Primorac helped the Serbian champion reach 1st place. Primorac beat Sabac in a penalty shootout 21:20 (17:17) in the derby of the weekend.

Sabac, which was the league leader after seven rounds, and Radnicki are tied in points. But Radnicki defeated Sabac in the first half of the season, and because of that, it currently holds the top spot.

Sabac started quite well in the game against Primorac in Kotor, establishing an early 2:0 lead. Deep into the second quarter, the visitors increased their advantage to three goals (6:3) and maintained the difference until 8:5 (18th minute). In the following four minutes and a half, Primorac scored six goals, conceding three and level the score at 11:11. Repanovic gave Sabac a 12:11 lead. Still, Balsa Vuckovic responded immediately to equalize.
