Baywatch stars, Carmen Electra and Brande Roderick, who played Lani McKenzie and Leigh Dyer in the smash-hit series, sent fans into a frenzy when they reunited on Sunday
Baywatch fans went wild this week when two of the stars from the show reunited. The smash-hit 90s series, which made overnight successes out of David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson, has a global following of loyal viewers around the world.
On Sunday, actresses Carmen Electra, 53, and Brande Roderick, 51, who played Candy and Leigh Dyer in the show, caused quite a commotion when they posed for a snap together, 30 years after finding fame in their tiny red swimsuits on the beach in California.
Seen arm in arm, the pair, who were both wearing plunging black gowns, rocked up at the 7th annual Jam For Janie fundraiser at The Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles with Aerosmith rock star Steven Tyler and Sabrina The Teenage Witch actress, Melissa Joan Hart.
Carmen, whose black velvet low-cut dress left little to the imagination, posed to perfection with her signature highlights and black eyeliner. Also making sure all eyes were on her, Brande, positively sizzled in her leather dress, which was split to the naval – and up to the thigh – and complemented with a chunky Chanel necklace.
Responding to the sizzling snap, Baywatch fans went wild, with co-star, Nicole Eggert, who played Summer Quinn on the show, replying: “Beauty!” Another said: “Gorgeous,” while a third noted: “You are GORGEOUS GODDESSES,” and a fourth gushed, “Omg how cute are you!!”
California native, Brande, is well known for her starring role as lifeguard Leigh Dyer on Baywatch, a stint that lasted 22 episodes. Meanwhile, Carmen guest starred as Candy in the Baywatch spin off Baywatch Nights in the Season 1 episode Epilogue before going on to play the role of lifeguard Lelani “Lani” McKenzie in the main series itself from 1997-1998 and its TV movie Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding.
Carmen has previously opened up about aging and unveiled some of her own beauty secrets as fans continue to marvel over how good she still looks.
“I’ve always loved a good skin-care routine, and I keep it pretty simple now with just a few key products,” she told NewBeauty in 2024.
She also emphasized the importance of drinking plenty of water, working out and taking vitamins daily. The star – who was married to late singer, Prince, for nine days – added: “I started focusing on water, and tricked myself into actually enjoying it, I noticed a huge difference.
“My body felt better, and my skin started to glow although I still have a cheat day every now and then!”
