Ant McPartlin’s ex Lisa Armstrong has quietly broken up with her actor lover after initially being introduced by Strictly pro Kevin Clifton and his partner Stacey Dooley

Ant McPartlin’s ex-wife Lisa Armstrong has split from her toyboy actor boyfriend. The Strictly Come Dancing make-up artist, 49, and Grant Kilburn, 34, called time on their relationship last month. A source said: “It’s very sad but it wasn’t to be.”

Reports last month described her as “happier than ever” with Kilburn who had been on tour in the play 2:22 A Ghost Story. But pals said they quietly split after deciding it wasn’t working. Lisa is thought to have been introduced to Grant by her pals, former Strictly pro Kevin Clifton and his partner Stacey Dooley.

Stacey and Kevin had been on tour with Grant in the play. Lisa reportedly met Grant last October when they performed at the Theatre Royal in Brighton. A source said at the time: “She’s taking it slow, she doesn’t want to get hurt again – but she’s being treated like a princess and her new man cannot do enough for her.”

The split comes after she divorced Ant in January 2018, two months before he crashed into two other cars while more than twice the drink-drive limit. He later admitted drink-driving and was fined £86,000 and given a 20-month ban. He went into rehab after the crash and took a 10-month break from TV presenting.

The presenter went on to marry his former personal assistant, Anne-Marie Corbett, in 2021 and the pair welcomed their first child together, son Wilder Patrick McPartlin last year.

Despite their split, the pair still share custody of their beloved 12-year-old chocolate Labrador, Hurley – who continues to be a regular fixture on Lisa’s Instagram page. She went on to date Sky electrician James Green in 2020 but their split came ‘out of the blue’ in August 2023.

Speaking at the time a friend said that the end of their three-year relationship had been amicable and that the former couple would remain friends.

As well as her work on Strictly, Lisa has built an impressive property portfolio in the wake of her divorce. The make-up artist, who was said to have been awarded £31million in a settlement from the TV star, snapped up a four-bed house near Oxford in 2024 for more than £700,000.

She already has the former family home, a £2.3million five-bedroom west London mansion, which she kept as part of the divorce. Lisa then bought a £3.8million house in west London in 2020, two years following her split from Ant.
