Carín León won’t just be at Sphere this year.

In addition to his seven-show Sin City residency, the cowboy hat-wearing cantante just announced he’s also striking out on his ‘De Sonora, para el Mundo Tour’ at arenas all over North America from May through October.

That includes stops at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Friday, June 5 and Newark, NJ’s Prudential Center on Sunday, June 7.

“Returning to the United States and Canada to reunite with my people fills my heart,” the 36-year-old Sonora native shared via Instagram.

“I’m coming back with new music and all the history we’ve built together. We’re preparing a very special production so we can feel closer than ever. From Sonora to the world… see you soon, my people.”

As for the new music, there’s no word yet on whether or not a new album is on the way. In the meantime, fans can chew on his recently-released single “La Morrita” featuring Xavi.

Should you see León live, you’ll likely be treated to a jumbo-sized show.

At past gigs, the two-time Grammy winner performed 40+ songs including fan favorites like “Primera Cita,” “QUE VUELVAS,” “Según quién,” “No es por acá” and “Te Lo Agradezco” among others, according to Set List FM.

“…his setlist is a declaration of liberation,” Billboard wrote in a review of a September 2024 ‘Boca Chueca Tour’ concert in Chicago.

They added that his “hefty live band…quickly adapts from banda to norteño to rock and country” with him.

‘De Sonora, para el Mundo Tour’ tickets become available first through pre-sales for American Express cardholders, Spotify subscribers, and Openstage Ticket Unlocks, a new platform that offers pre-sale ticket access based on fandom.

Tickets officially go on sale to the general public on Friday, Feb. 13 at 10 am local time through Ticketmaster but are available now on trusted secondary market sites like StubHub, Vivid Seats and GameTime.

We only recommend sites with a 100% buyer guarantee, so you know your transaction is safe and your tickets will arrive on time.

Carín León new music

As noted above, León dropped his most recent single “La Morrita” — which translates to “the brunette” — on Jan. 9.

The lively jam employs a jaunty norteño sound under speedy vocals to create a dizzying effect that’s equal parts intoxicating and danceable.

If you’d like to hear the 2.5-minute bop yourself, you can find “La Morrita” here.
