New Liberty coach Chris DeMarco had close to a clean slate when he arrived in Brooklyn this winter.
His predecessor, Sandy Brondello, brought her husband and the Liberty’s top assistant last season, Olaf Lange, and former video coordinator and player development coach Brian Lankton along with her to Toronto.
The Storm hired Sonia Raman to be their next head coach, and assistant Zach O’Brien joined Lynne Roberts’ staff in Los Angeles this offseason.
Their departures, along with Parker Lovett’s promotion to a job in the Liberty’s front office, allowed DeMarco the opportunity to bring in people he believes best fit his vision.
