Adam Peaty’s family are said to be ‘outraged’ over Gordon Ramsay’s comments – after the TV chef broke his silence yesterday on the row between Adam and his family ahead of his wedding.
Yesterday Gordon claimed he and Tana treated Adam’s family “like royalty” and shared hopes that he and his wife could reconcile with their in-laws. But that now seems further than possible in this latest development.
In a bombshell interview yesterday, Gordon and Tana said they wanted to sort things out. He said: “I would like to go up to Nottingham with Tana and see them and draw a line in the sand.

“It was Adam and Holly’s wishes for them not to attend and so we had to respect that. There’s stuff they need to sort out as parents. That’s nothing to do with Tana and me. But we are very mindful we want to move on and allow Holly and Adam to continue starting their lives together.”
Tana added: “We’ve had fallouts within my family, there are no winners. I’m so grateful we got through mine and have happy relationships again. You don’t have to be best friends, but be civil. You can’t be happy when there’s a fallout going on. It’s really negative, and no one wants that.”
Now, Adam’s furious family have hit back against the Ramsays claims, branding them “bullies” and saying they have been “pushed too far”. They furiously said: “Your family missed out on ours because we are good honest people.”

A family source told The Sun: “We are outraged. Gordon is nothing but a big bully and we hate bullies. How dare they – the sheer gall of them! You have pushed us too far!
“The Ramsays did not treat Caroline like royalty at all – they treated her as though she was nothing. They ignored her existence and not once did Mrs Ramsay return any of Caroline’s texts. The get together lunch they promised on the day of the engagement never materialised either.” In a furious rant, the relative went on to say that “if they had millions like the Beckhams” it would be different.
Adam and Holly got married in front of her family and their friends at Bath Abbey on December 27th. Caroline, Adam’s mum, was uninvited from the wedding, and Bethany – Adam’s sister – was the only family member on his side in attendance at the wedding.
Whilst his family did not make an appearance, the Beckhams – minus Brooklyn – were out in full force at the star-studded event as well as a number of Adam’s Strictly Come Dancing co-stars including Dan Walker and Sara Davies.
