SAN FRANCISCO — Celebrity chef Cat Cora is coming to the rescue for those struggling to figure out how they’ll host a proper Super Bowl bash on Sunday.

The Food Network star said in a sitdown interview with The California Post this week her biggest advice for people looking to entertain friends during the big Seahawks vs. Patriots tilt is to simply “have a lot of good grazing food.”

“That’s definitely the key,” she said. “Have a lot of chips. Salsa. Guac. Have some kind of dip. Have little handheld things that people can walk around with or things people can just grab.

“It makes cleanup easy. It makes plating easy because you plate on a big platter. It gives you time to relax. Decorate a little bit if you want. Get the cocktails ready and the mocktails ready on the side.”

Cora said hosts should take things a step further by putting out food items that partygoers can build themselves — such as taco bars.

“Things that make your life easy so you can actually enjoy the Super Bowl,” she said. “Because you want to have fun.”

Cora will have the opportunity to practice what she preaches on Saturday, as she and a gaggle of other famous chefs are set to cook at the “Taste of the NFL” event at The Hibernia in San Francisco.

She’s slated to rule over the stove for several hours, and she said she’s pumped to dish out her famous buffalo chicken mac and cheese.

She said she’s also thrilled the event will help a good cause — GENYOUth, an org. whose mission is to end student hunger and food insecurity.

Last year in New Orleans, the festivities helped raise $2.2 million, and Cora said she’s aiming to top that figure at this year’s iteration.

“I hope that we raise a whole lot more money,” she said.

The Super Bowl week get-together is slated to kick off at 4 p.m. PT. Tickets are still on sale.
