Reality stars Sophie Habboo and Jamie Laing became first time parents at the end of 2025 with the arrival of this son, Ziggy, last December – and they have been sharing insights into their family life with fans
Sophie Habboo delighted fans by sharing a photo of her baby son, Ziggy, enjoying one of his many life first experiences. The 31-year-old reality star gave birth to her son in December last year, with Made In Chelsea star husband Jamie Laing, 37, at her side.
The couple met while on the E4 reality show back in 2017 and married in front of close family and friends in 2023. The duo, who co-host an evolving podcast series about their lives, were overjoyed to become first-time parents last year.
And while the couple are sharing tender moments with their son via social media and other outlets, the pair are tipped to soon share even more of their lives via a new Disney+ parenthood documentary. In the meantime, Sophie and Jamie have been giving fans insight into their family life online.

And this weekend, Sophie uploaded a photo of herself hugging her baby boy on Instagram Stories. The proud mum held her son close and planted a loving kiss on his head – while a second image showed a close-up of his weekend outfit.
Sophie shared the images alongside a caption that revealed Ziggy was embracing one of his many ‘firsts’ as he posed with his mum. She wrote in a caption: “My boy in his first pair of jeans” – alongside a string of crying face emojis.
Sophie and Jamie have wowed fans with details of their lives via their ongoing podcast series. Initially called Newlyweds – and chronicling their wedding planning – the show was first rebranded as Newlyweds and then rebranded again in June last year to NearlyParents.
Fans can expect to see more of the same with their upcoming Disney+ show, provisionally titled Jamie and Sophie: Raising Chelsea. Speaking about the series previously, the couple declared: “For nearly a decade, we’ve brought audiences along the highs and lows of our personal and professional lives through TV, radio, social media and our podcasts.
“It’s such an honour to now partner with the incredible teams at Disney+ and Dorothy St Pictures to bring our next chapter to viewers across the globe. Navigating our lives with a baby on the way has opened up a whole new stage of our relationship – we can’t wait to give you a front row seat.”
Meanwhile, Jamie has irked his wife by teasing her about their changing body shapes since they became parents. In social media posts previously, Jamie joked he was missing his pre-baby figure.
A video showed him holding his son while complaining: “I missed how my body looked before you.” The camera then panned to Sophie, who quipped: ‘What you talking about, you’re his Dad, get your a*s to the gym.” And Jamie shared the post alongside a caption stating: “Dad bod era incoming.”
Jamie and Sophie certainly haven’t kept their personal lives to themselves, having spoken openly on podcasts and various TV shows. Jamie previously disclosed: “I met Sophie and fell in love with her on the show [Made In Chelsea].
“Whenever everyone asked me where I met Sophie, I said I knew her before the show – that was a complete lie, I didn’t. I didn’t want that to be our story because it wasn’t romantic enough.” He added that balancing their personal and media lives had been tough, saying: “The big challenge is leaving it at the office. I obsess over things and I’ve found it very tricky to leave it at the door. Our relationship has become our work, so it’s a challenge to separate it from normal life.”
He has also revealed he was scared to become a father. He said last year: “For a long time, I was very scared about it because I think I’m probably quite selfish. I like doing things that I like doing. When you have a baby, that all changes.”
He added that speaking to his own dad made him reconsider, revealed, “I spoke to my dad, and I thought, ‘Well, this is an amazing journey that I could go on.’ Sophie wants to be a mum more than anything, and who am I to deny that just because of selfish reasons?” He added: “I thought when I get to 90 years old hopefully and I’m in my rocking chair or an ice bath and Sophie’s there… you don’t want to look back at life and think I wish I’d done that.”
